CTA: donation centers, recyclers, resale platforms and more. We want to feature you!

If you run an organization that helps people responsibly get rid of their stuff — we built Ditch for you too.
Ditch is a directory connecting people who are ready to let go of things with the right places to send them. We're building out our network of solutions, and we want to make sure every legitimate, quality option in your area is represented. That means donation centers, thrift stores, recycling programs, resale platforms, specialty drop-offs, junk removal services, and everything in between.
If that sounds like you — read on...
Who we're looking for
We're building a directory that covers the full spectrum of responsible disposal options. If you help people get rid of stuff in any of the following ways, we want to hear from you:
- Donation centers and thrift stores — Goodwill-style drop-offs, charity shops, community donation programs
- Specialty donation programs — furniture banks, clothing drives, toy drives, electronics donation programs
- Recycling programs — textile recyclers, e-waste recyclers, appliance recyclers, paint recyclers, mattress recyclers
- Resale and peer-to-peer platforms — consignment shops, online resale platforms, buy-nothing programs
- Pickup and junk removal services — whether free, donation-based, or paid
- Manufacturer and retailer take-back programs — brand-specific recycling or trade-in programs
- Any other service that helps items find a second life instead of a landfill
If you're not sure whether you qualify, reach out anyway. If you help people responsibly move things out of their homes, there's probably a place for you on Ditch.
Getting listed is free
Listing your organization on the Ditch directory costs nothing. We believe the more options people have access to, the better — so we're not going to put a paywall in front of that.
Down the road, we'll be building out additional features for organizations on the platform — things like enhanced visibility, marketing tools, and deeper integrations. Those may come with costs attached. But a core listing? Always free.
Why it's worth being on Ditch
You reach people at exactly the right moment.
Ditch users aren't casually browsing. They've already decided to get rid of something — they just need to know where it should go. That means higher intent, better quality donations, and people who actually follow through.
You get found for what you actually accept.
One of the biggest frustrations for donors is showing up somewhere with a carload of stuff and finding out half of it isn't accepted. On Ditch, your listing will include an exhaustive breakdown of exactly what you take, in what condition, and how — so the people who find you are already the right fit.
You stand out in a curated directory.
Instead of competing with dozens of Google results, you're part of a vetted, organized network. Users find you because you're the right match for what they have — not because you paid for an ad.
501(c)(3) organizations noticed.
If your organization is a registered 501(c)(3), we surface that clearly in your listing. Donors who are specifically looking for tax-deductible options can filter for it — which means more visibility for you among the most motivated donors.
What we'll need from you
To create your listing, we'll ask for some basic information about your organization:
- Contact and organization basics — name, website, point of contact, social media handles
- Organization type — nonprofit, thrift store, recycling program, junk removal marketplace, take-back program, etc.
- Pricing — is any part of your service paid, or are you completely free to the person donating?
- What you accept — an exhaustive list of items, brands, categories, and conditions you take. The more specific the better. We'll also ask what you don't accept.
- How you accept goods — drop-off, scheduled pickup, mail-in, or some combination
- Anything else we should know — service area, special programs, restrictions, seasonal availability, etc.
The more detail you can give us upfront, the better your listing will perform. Users filter by item type, condition, and method — so a complete listing means more relevant matches finding their way to you.

We're excited to build this with you.
